The Lighthouse Network, founded by Dr Nkiru Olumide-Ojo, has hosted its annual Leadership Conversations in Abuja, bringing together a select group of professionals for an evening focused on leadership, influence and impact.

The event, held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, featured Ambassador Dr Maureen Tamuno, Group Managing Director of Abuja Investment Limited, and Mrs Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, the 33rd President of the Nigerian Bar Association, as speakers.

Held under the theme “Insight, Influence and Impact,” the conversation explored how professionals can turn knowledge and experience into meaningful influence and lasting change.

The gathering brought together members of the CareerPreneur community, creating a platform for participants to engage with leaders across business, public service and the legal profession.

The event also highlighted a broader question for Nigeria’s emerging professionals: what happens to leadership when success is measured not only by personal achievement, but by the value created for others?

For the organisers, the distinction is clear: insight becomes valuable when it is shared, influence matters when it serves others, and impact is ultimately measured by what remains after the leader is gone.

The annual Leadership Conversations continues The Lighthouse Network’s effort to create spaces where professionals can exchange ideas, learn from established leaders and examine how their careers can contribute to wider societal impact.
