Zenith Bank is set to host the sixth edition of its flagship technology event, Zenith Tech Fair, on November 5, 2026, as the bank continues to position technology and innovation at the centre of Africa’s evolving business landscape.
The event, tagged Future Forward 6.0, will begin at 9:00 a.m. WAT and will be held virtually, with participants able to join through Zoom and Zenith Bank’s social media platforms.
Now in its sixth edition, the Tech Fair has become a platform for conversations around emerging technologies, digital transformation and the opportunities available to African businesses and innovators.
This year’s programme also includes Zecathon 6.0, Zenith Bank’s startup pitch competition designed to spotlight African founders developing solutions for industries undergoing rapid technological change.
The 2026 competition is placing particular attention on Generative AI, Agentic AI and other emerging technologies, with startups working across sectors including fintech, agritech, healthtech, climate tech, e-commerce, payments and lending, cybersecurity, education, insurance, retail and logistics.
Zecathon 6.0 is offering a total of ₦90 million in cash prizes for its top five winners, alongside opportunities for continental visibility, mentorship, partnerships and resources aimed at helping participating startups scale.
The focus reflects a broader shift in Africa’s technology ecosystem, where artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies are increasingly moving from experimentation into practical applications across finance, healthcare, education, commerce and other sectors.
Zenith Bank has used previous editions of the Tech Fair to bring together technology companies, entrepreneurs, developers and industry leaders while supporting startups through competitions and funding. At the 2025 edition, the bank awarded ₦140 million to 10 African innovators through its expanded hackathon and startup pitch competitions.
With Future Forward 6.0, the bank is once again turning its attention to the technologies and businesses that could shape Africa’s next phase of digital growth.
Zenith Tech Fair 6.0 takes place on November 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. WAT.
